Q: Where will my first assignment be located for a Leadership Program?

Q: How is the final placement determined for a Leadership Program?
A: Final placement is determined by company need combined with the input of the program participant. When considering options for your "off placement assignment," we try to match your most desired locations along with the opportunities available at those locations.

A: Yes, one of the strengths of our program lies within the professional and personal acquaintances developed between participants. Development program workshops provide great opportunities for participants to exchange job-related experiences in addition to developing long-lasting friendships.
Q: What type of feedback do program participants receive?
A: All program participants take part in the Management Development and Planning Process (MD&P). This is Cooper's succession planning tool that is used by all salaried personnel in the corporation. MD&P gives you the opportunities to collaborate with your supervisor to set goals and objectives you should strive to achieve in the current assignment. It also gives you the chance to discuss your performance while your supervisor has the opportunity to give constructive feedback.
