GLOBAL UNIVERSITY RELATIONS
To succeed, Cooper devotes substantial resources to the
recruitment and continued training and development of its
employees. At Cooper, our strategy is to recruit, hire, and
retain some of the most talented candidates from the best
colleges and universities in the United States and abroad.
Many of Cooper's current leaders and managers have been recruited through our development programs:
- Advanced Leadership Program (ALP)
- The Operations Leadership Program (OLP)
- The Human Resources Leadership Program (HRLP)
- The Sales & Marketing Program
These two-and three- year rotational work assignments prepare
recent college graduates for future leadership roles by offering
responsible and meaningful work, the chance to learn through
hands-on experience and the opportunity to supplement practical
work with professional seminars and company workshops.
Two of Cooper's divisions ( Crouse-Hinds and Power Systems) offer
Sales and Marketing Development Programs which are specific to
their division's specialized technical sales needs.
Outside of these structured development programs, each of Cooper's
nine divisions are continuously recruiting top talent from colleges
and universities near our manufacturing facilities.
