Career Development
Cooper Industries believes in "promotion from within" when the talent and
experience is available. Normally, individuals qualified for promotional
opportunities are selected from the operating division where the job opening
exists. The company intends to use its Management Development and Planning
Program and its related succession planning process to identify qualified
candidates in this regard. On occasion, such openings are filled by qualified
individuals from other Cooper Divisions. Along with the MD&P process, this
website is intended to facilitate the identification of qualified candidates
in such instances. The open positions posted in the "Career Opportunities"
section of this website are listed for your review and consideration. Cooper
values your desire to advance and grow with the company and welcomes any
inquiries you may have regarding a posted job for which you believe you are
qualified. The Company's goal is to fill each open position in a way that
benefits both our employees and the company to the fullest extent possible.
