Reliable, high density rear-release connectors offer superior features and low installation cost over other popular crimp and solder "D" types. Contacts are stamped and formed, and provides an insulation crimp feature which provides strain relief and insures the integrity of the crimp. The contacts are loaded with fingertip pressure and removed with a simple tool from the wired side (the rear of the connector). The contact and crimp are surrounded by the dielectric which eliminates the need for potting or sleeving to protect against shorting.
