Rack and Panel 220x220.jpg

26 Series® Rack-and-Panel Connectors

Pin Polarization - For blind mating situations…pins mate before contacts for perfect alignment.
Barrier Polarization - Dielectric barrier prevents mismating…used in most rack-and-panel or module interconnections.
Barrier Polarization with Keyed Shells - Similar to barrier type with addition of aluminum shell on both plug and receptacle. Shell is keyed to prevent accidental mismating of several connectors mounted on the same panel. 26-41XX connectors have plug (male) insert in receptacle (female) inserts in plug shell.

Features

Contact Mating: The 26 Series® connectors mate easily, with no danger of mialignment or bent pins. Two wide, positive pressure contact points produce a self-cleaning and wiping action to keep surfaces clean and clear for low-resistance and continuity.

Longer Life: Estimated service life of 25 years in a mated condition for high reliability.

Versatility: Choose from 3 rack and panel configurations; 2 cable-to-panel types, 8 to 42 contacts; barrier polarization, pin polarization, barrier polarization with a large number of alternate positions (available on special order).

Lower Cost: Considering all the superior durability features of design and construction, these connectors offer you lower initial and life-cycle cost over any comparable competitive connector. Immediate off-the-shelf availability from local distributors can be a cost-saving factor also.
