Wireless IP Radio (RADIO-900M)
Wireless Ethernet Network
The WAVES over IP (WoIP) RADIO-900M, part of the Alerity integrated Mass Notification platform, is an Ethernet communications radio that provides wireless connections between Ethernet devices and/or Ethernet wired networks (LANs) and complies with relevant IEEE 802.11 standards. The RADIO-900M can be added to any end node within the WoIP Mass Notification System for wireless communications.
The WoIP wireless Ethernet device uses a 900 MHz Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum (DSSS) wireless transceiver and combines the benefits of reliable distance communications with data throughputs to 54 Mbps.
- Wireless Ethernet Radio provides wired to wireless transparent bridge
- Uses reliable 900MHz spectrum for transmission
- Provides infrastructure placement flexibility; Extending reach - up to 6 miles line of sight
- At least 1 Master Radio (IPC-8001 and RADIO-900M) is required per site when adding a wireless end node
