CYME 5.0 power engineering software features an enhanced graphical user interface that provides the user with great flexibility in creating the one-line diagram of the network as well as providing a wide variety of options to customize the displays and reports. In addition to the state of the art graphic user interface, CYME’s field proven analysis functions are incorporated into this software platform. The analysis function menus in CYME 5.0 are presented as a very user friendly interface along with contextual on line help.
The CYME workspace is fully customizable. The graphical representation of network components, results and reports can be built and modified to supply the level of detail needed. Innovative engineering technologies, industry practices and standards are at the core of the CYME algorithms, flexible user interface and extensive libraries.

The CYME Power Engineering software is a suite of applications composed of a network editor, analysis modules and user-customizable model libraries from which you can choose to get the most powerful solution. The modules available comprise a variety of advanced applications and extensive libraries for either transmission/industrial or distribution power network analysis.
The CYME Network Editor is one of the most user friendly and powerful engineering tools available on the market today.
Key features include:
CYMFLOW is the main analysis module of CYME 5.0 and has a seamless interface with all other modules.
CYMFAULT adheres to International IEC-60909© guidelines and North American ANSI® C37.5, ANSI® C37.010, ANSI® C37.13 standards. It also supports conventional short-circuit studies (LLL, LL, LL-G, L-G) without reference to any particular standards.
The Dynamic Motor Starting Analysis analysis module is dedicated to simulating the effects of induction and synchronous motor starting in three-phase electric power systems.
CYMSTAB is the transient stability dedicated to simulating electromechanical transients in power systems. It features the capability to include user-defined controls, a very flexible user-interface; and powerful graphics.
CYMHARMO features a number of analyses, including frequency scan, voltage distortion and current distortion calculations on balanced and unbalanced systems; and covers both single phase and full three-phase modeling capabilities. The Frequency scan capability included in this module is also available as an independent module.
