Rebecca Hadley-Catter, LC, LEED AP, ASID, IES
Manager, SOURCE Lighting Education Center
Rebecca is the Manager of the SOURCE Lighting Education Center. In this position she develops course content, oversees capital projects for new construction and renovations and the day to day operations of the SOURCE facility.
Prior to joining Eaton in January 2001, Rebecca taught design in academia, and was coordinator of an academic program responsible for curriculum and program outcomes. As an assistant professor she conducted research on lighting solutions for the elderly and taught lighting as a part of the design curriculum. Rebecca is able to draw on design, research and education expertise to develop course content for educational and product solutions classes as well as incorporate Eaton lighting products into application solutions throughout the facility.
Rebecca is Lighting Certified (LC) by NCQLP (National Association on Qualifications for Lighting Professionals) and a LEED Accredited Professional by USGBC. As a professional member of the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America she is active on several committees and is co-chair of the Teachers of Lighting Committee. She is a graduate of Florida State University with a Masters degree in Interior Design and Purdue University with a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Design
James K. McCarthy, CLC, LC, IES
SOURCE Senior Market Specialist
Jim has accrued over 38 years in the lighting field. Over 29 years of that time was in electrical distribution as Lighting Manager and Director of Purchasing for their residential lighting department. In his SOURCE role Jim is responsible for the SOURCE daily agendas, residential and fundamentals courses and specializes in the fields of down lighting and track products.
Jim is Lighting Certified (LC) by NCQLP (National Association on Qualifications for Lighting Professionals), a member of the Illuminating Engineering Society (IESNA) and holds the CLC (Certified Lighting Consultant) from the American Lighting Association (ALA). Jim is active with the ALA on the Education Committee and was assistant editor for their Residential Lighting Handbook. He was honored by the ALA in 2010 with the Pillar of the Industry Award. He was involved in their two publications, “Guide on Kitchen and Bath Lighting” and “Guide on Recessed and Track Lighting”. He is a graduate of Northeastern Illinois University with a BA in Communications.
Mario Romero, LC, IES
Mario Romero began his career in 2006 with Eaton working in Specification Sales and design on architectural and commercial projects in Latin America. In 2011 Mario expanded his role to Marketing Manager for Latin America. In 2014 he joined the SOURCE team in Peachtree City as a Market Specialist specializing in Commercial products and Controls. Mario is a member of the Illuminating Engineering Society (IESNA) and a graduate of the National Polytechnic Institute in Mexico as an Architectural Engineer.
Colin Evans, IES
SOURCE Market Specialist
Colin Evans began his career with Eaton in 2013 working Inside Sales for the controls group. In this role, he was responsible for designing the layout of low voltage and DALI lighting control systems for the Gulf Coast and Central regions. In 2015 Colin expanded his role to Senior Training Specialist and was in charge of the controls training program. Recently, in 2016 Colin joined the SOURCE as a Market Specialist with a specialization in controls. In this role he is responsible for planning and content of various controls protocols.
Prior to joining Eaton, Colin was a project manager for a general construction company with the responsiblility of project quotation, logistical planning, and on-site project management. Colin is a graduate of Georgia Southern University and holds a B.S. in Business Administration as well as a member of IES.
Steve Guarracino, LC, IES
SOURCE Market Specialist
Steve began his lighting career in 1999 with Eaton as part of the pricing team, first as a senior pricing analyst then as an area pricing manager for the Northeast region. Over the past seven years he has been the Marketing Manager for Industrial and Lumark Indoor products. In his role as a marketing manager he was responsible for managing the new product development cycle, market analysis, product collateral development, website content, and product training.
Today, Steve is a SOURCE Market Specialist specializing in the fields of industrial and exterior site lighting and is responsible for both the New Technology and Retrofit for Energy Efficient Solutions and the LED Exterior Lighting Solutions courses.
Steve is Lighting Certified (LC) by NCQLP (National Association on Qualifications for Lighting Professionals), a member of the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) and a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Chase Reeder, LCA
SOURCE Market Specialist
Chase Reeder started with Eaton as a field service and lighting controls applications specialist in 2013. This included lighting systems commissioning as well as systems application testing and troubleshooting. In 2014, he transitioned to the role of Master Technician and became an integral part of Eaton’s lighting controls technical staff. His past role allowed him to become knowledgeable of all Eaton lighting systems, and that was a contributing factor that led to his current role in the SOURCE. As of 2016, Chase is a SOURCE Market Specialist and instructor for Eaton Lighting System’s commissioning classes. Chase holds numerous certifications from the Lighting Controls Association (LCA), and is a graduate of West Georgia Tech with dual degrees in microcomputers and networking.
Tricia joined Eaton in 2015 as SOURCE Coordinator. In her role her main responsibility is scheduling and logistics of all SOURCE educational classes, visits and events. This includes all the associated billing and report out for such events.
She has over 25 years of experience with various facets of business including sales support, financials, office administration and marketing. Her background in research and development, customer and employee relations, and project management has made her a great fit for her job in the SOURCE. Her vast knowledge of computer programs has allowed her to assist companies with the development and implementation of processes and procedures; as well as creation of various reporting tools for management, sales and field maintenance.
